<p dir="ltr"><span>Thanks to the financial support of Karafarin Bank and the efforts of Karafarini and Tehran Universities, Iran-Iraq Grand Trade Conference was held on 15 and 16 of October 2017. A number of Iranian and Iraqi officials, along with Iranian Chamber of Commerce and Iran-Iraq Economic Development headquarter took part in this conference, Karafarin Bank’s Public Relations Department reported.<br> During this two-day conference, Iraqi trade delegation and Iranian officials exchanged views on bilateral cooperation in the fields of banking and economic relations as well as challenges ahead. <br> In this conference, Karafarin Bank took the opportunity to display its services, especially foreign currency and international services to assist Iraqi businessmen in trading with Iran and to help expand inter-banking transactions. <br> The International Affairs Director of Karafarin Bank, Farkhondeh Jariri, outlined the “banking relations” by introducing the Bank’s international and foreign currency services. Jariri also declared Karafarin Bank’s readiness to offer a wide range of services to entrepreneurs of the two countries. <br> According to Karafarin Bank’s Public Relations, a number of officials from the ministries of Trade, Petroleum, Power, Roads, Health, the Central Bank of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Central Insurance, Standard Organization, Customs, as well as credible Iraqi traders took part in this conference. These traders specialize in the fields of food, building construction material, energy, cars, medical equipment, health tourism, technical engineering and industrial services, Public Relations reported. <br> Sayed Hamid Hosseini, the head of Iran-Iraq Chamber of Commerce announced that Iraq is the second largest export market for Iranian products and services. During the first half of the year, Iran exported close to USD3.28 billion worth of goods and services to Iraq. <br> At the end of the conference, the sponsors this conference were and Mr. Mohammad Reza Khoursandi (vice-managing director of Karafarin Bank in international affairs) representing the Bank, was awarded a prize of commendation. <br> <br class="t-last-br"> </span></p>
