Annual e-banking conference kicks off in Tehran

Attended by senior banking and technology officials, the eighth annual conference on E-Banking and Payment Systems kicked off in Tehran on Tuesday, IRIB reported.

TEHRAN TIMES- Iran’s Information and Communication Technology (ICT) minister, deputy head of Central Bank of Iran (CBI) and head of Monetary and Banking Research Institute were among the officials who attended the opening ceremony.
Blockchain technology and ledgers, cryptocurrencies, alternative payment systems, digital evolution as well as fraud, money laundering and ways to deal with them, were among the main subject lines of the conference.
The conference will wrap up today.
