Banks Deposits in Iran Rise to $182b

Banks customers had 23,725.6 trillion rials ($182.5 billion) in deposits with banks and credit institutions by the end of the seventh month of the current fiscal year (October 22), according to the Central Bank of Iran.

Financial Tribune- The figure indicates an increase of 5,356.2 trillion rials ($41.2 billion) during one year, also showing 29.2% growth compared to the end of corresponding month last year, the bank said in a report.
Deposits rose 14.8% compared to the end of the last fiscal year (March 2019), when the amount was 20,673.4 trillion rials ($159 billion) in banks.
