Karafarin Bank Shines in Foreign Currency Operations

Mehdi Goudarzi (board member) and Hossein Hossenali (foreign currency operations manager) held a ceremony to inaugurate Karafarin Bank’s fourth independent foreign currency operations unit.

Having emphasised on the Bank’s strategy of focusing on foreign currency and international, as well as inter-banking operations in this ceremony , Goudarzi stated that fortunately not only has Karafarin Bank been successful in this regard, but its ability to offer a wide variety of foreign currency services in the shortest possible time has been one of the points of strength of this bank from the very beginning of its come about.
“By establishing independent foreign currency units and focusing on our strategies in this sector, we have been able to better sustain our market share in comparison to our rivals.” He continued.
Having also stated that customer orientation is amongst the main principles of Karafarin Bank, he added: “The very fact that our clients are keen to use Karafarin Bank’s services shows that customers are attracted to high quality services, and hence, we should always be ready to answer to their needs.”
Referring to the newly inaugurated foreign currency operations unit he commented: “Professionalism attracts more customers, and we ought to focus on their growing needs in the international arena. We should also pay more attention to training our staff to keep them updated, to ensure that they maintain their standards in answering to growing demand.”
Having stressed on the fact that two additional independent foreign currency units shall be established by the end of the year, he added: “We are planning to set up two more independent foreign currency units, with the aim of offering a wide variety of better services to our customers and countrymen. Fortunately, we have the capacity to answer to the requirements of major customers such a large corporations. In this regard, the aforementioned newly inaugurated unit shall offer all foreign currency services such as opening L/Gs, opening foreign currency accounts, fund transfers, issuing documentary collections, etc.
