<p dir="LTR"><span>Financial Tribune- The average goods and services Consumer Price Index for rural areas in the 12-month period ending September 21, which marks the end of the Iranian month of Shahrivar, increased by 7.7% compared with last year’s corresponding period, the Statistical Center of Iran reported. The center had reported an 8% rural inflation for the preceding Iranian month.</span></p> <p dir="LTR"><span>The overall rural CPI (using 2011 as the base year) stood at 244 in Shahrivar, indicating a 1% decrease compared with the previous month and a year-on-year increase of 7.5% compared with last year’s similar month.</span></p> <p dir="LTR"><span>Urban inflation for the month of Shahrivar was earlier put at 8.3% by SCI.</span></p>
