<p dir="LTR"><span>Financial Tribune- The goods and services Consumer Price Index for rural areas in the 12-month period ending February 18, which marks the end of the Iranian month of Bahman, reached 7.1% compared with last year’s corresponding figure, the Statistical Center of Iran reported.</span></p> <p dir="LTR"><span>The center had reported the same rural inflation for the preceding Iranian month.</span></p> <p dir="LTR"><span>The overall rural CPI (using Iranian year to March 2012) stood at 249.9 in Bahman, indicating a 0.4% increase compared with the previous month and a year-on-year increase of 7.6% compared with last year’s similar month.</span></p> <p dir="LTR"><span>Urban inflation for the month was earlier put at 6.8% by SCI.</span></p>
