<p dir="LTR"><span>IRNA –Iranian Road and Urban Development Minister Abbas Akhundi in a meeting with South Korea's Minister of Land, Infrastructure and Transport Kim Hyun-mee explored development of infrastructural and transportation ties between Tehran and Seoul.</span></p> <p dir="LTR"><span>Iran, S. Korea discuss transportation cooperation</span></p> <p dir="LTR"><span>During their Monday meeting, Akhundi and Hyun-mee discussed possible grounds for Korean firms to invest and cooperate in railway, air and road transportation projects as well as transit, logistics, housing and urban development projects in Iran.</span></p> <p dir="LTR"><span>Both sides also stressed on the need for formation of a joint cooperation commission between Tehran Iran and Seoul slated to be held on November 15 in South Korea.</span></p> <p dir="LTR"><span>According to Akhundi, the two ministers also discussed development of the Isfahan-Ahvaz railway, purchasing railbus systems and investing in Iranian airports by the South Korean firms.</span></p> <p dir="LTR"><span>Meanwhile, Hyun-mee said holding the joint economic commission and its operational committee will accelerate Korean companies' investment in Iran.</span></p>
