<p dir="LTR"><span>IRNA - Head of Iran’s Central Bank on Saturday expressed hope that with the pursuit of disciplinary policies of the bank, the country’s inflation rate would become single-digit.</span></p> <p dir="LTR"><span>Central Bank Head: Inflation rate to become single-digit</span></p> <p dir="LTR"><span>“Despite the achievements in the last four years to continuously decrease the inflation rate and efforts made for retaining it, Valiollah Seif said, the last month (Persian calendar, May 22-June 21) rate of 10.2 percent was an indication of existing risks threatening the achievements in the curb of inflation.</span></p> <p dir="LTR"><span>Urging the policy-making bodies of the country to be cautious, he expressed hope that boosting monetary and financial disciplines would change the inflation rate into a single-digit figure.</span></p>
